Unsere DDoS Protection

Both private and business server operators are increasingly exposed to ever more serious network attacks. For just a few euros, anyone can book DDoS attacks as a "service" using anonymous means of payment and take unprotected targets offline temporarily. The motivation of the attackers can be of a business nature, to harm the competition, or of a private nature, for example as a defiant reaction to personal conflicts. This is why we offer our products with free DDoS protection, which filters harmful traffic and allows legitimate traffic to pass through unhindered.

Functionality

  1. Your server’s incoming traffic is continuously analyzed at short intervals. An incipient attack is detected within around 5-15 seconds. Just a few thousand packets per second (PPS) are enough to trigger a DDoS defense.

  2. The traffic is then routed through our filter infrastructure, whereby harmful traffic is filtered out without delay, even in the event of changing attack patterns.

  3. Even before the detailed filtering begins, large parts of the attack are sorted out at the routers in real time. This ensures that even during the short detection time there is usually no disruption, as the attack cannot yet develop its full effect.

Automated traffic analysis

While many providers often use DDoS protection as an emergency solution and block all web traffic in the event of an attack on port 80, for example, our focus is on keeping your server and, in particular, the attacked application accessible. Intelligent filter mechanisms ensure that attacks are completely blocked without affecting legitimate traffic.
